kenramsey.com has purchased a dedicated server to host our high school sports site. We are moving this site Wednesday morning at 6:00am central time. The forum may be interupted for a short while, only until the change is picked up by your internet service provider and their routers.

Please let your friends know, that if they try to access the forum after 6:00am Wednesday, they may have to give it a little more time. Some of us will see the change before others. You may see it before I do. You will not have to register again. When you click on bulletin boards, and it works, you are ready to go. You can be the first to add a message on our dedicated server.

Here's one thing you can do to be sure you are seeing the newest version of kenramsey.com. Clear your browser's 'cache' directory and delete the 'temporary internet files' on your computer. At the top of your internet explorer browser, click on 'tools', 'internet options', 'delete temporary files, cookies, etc'. Next put a check box in 2 boxes: 'delete temporary internet files', delete cookies'. Then, mash the 'delete' button at the bottom of that screen. This will not harm your computer. I usually do this at least twice a week. Next, close, or x-out, your internet explorer browser, and reopen it. The forums will probably be there for you, then.

Due to the death of my computer programmer, the person who developed every program that we use on our site, kenramsey.com experienced the worst football season, ever, on the internet last year. We have a new programmer, now, and everything is just like it was before.

Our new dedicated server should handle any amount of traffic we can give it. We will have the most power and the most bandwidth that we have ever had, and it will remain that way. This will be the most power we've ever had since 1997!

This message is also posted on the home page.

message from my new dedicated server host:
After you have entered our name servers with your registrar, it can still
take between 24 and 48 hours until the new name servers are propagated and
your website can be seen by using your domain name.
