Who do you think are the real top 4 teams. I think the power rating may be off. Last years top three were Oak Hill, Houma Christian, and Forest. Oak Hill and Houma Christian have a few losses but are playing big schools.

i checked both versions of power ratings and:
forest is #1 in the 2010 baseball formula, #2 using the volleyball formula being used by softball.
houma christain is #26 in the 2010 baseball formula, #25 using the volleyball formula being used by softball.
oak hill is #4 in the 2010 baseball formula, #9 using the volleyball formula being used by softball.

which one is a more true picture for oak hill? what is the baseball coaches ranking for oak hill?

You asked so don't get mad. Just looking at records, which I know don't paint the whole picture, the bigger story is not so much in their losses; rather, wins.

Houma Christian has three wins against teams with a winning record while Oak Hill has beat 10. Take that fwiw but it's what the power ratings are comprised of. They don't measure the intangibles and why we have a playoff. *wink*

Oak Hill and Forest both are strong this year again. both have their aces back and both are primed for a run in the playoffs. as far as anyone else goes, im not really sure because i havent seen anymore of the true elite teams play yet.
