The 3A race between 3-3A's Buckeye and Avoyelles is one of the closest match-ups I have ever seen. Every time the PRs are updated they switch between first and second. The series between the two teams is 1-1. I did some math:

Buckeye Avg Runs Scored=5.3ppg and Runs Allowed= .6ppg
Avoyelles Avg Runs Scored5.9ppg and Runs Allowed 1.28 ppg

the difference in each stat is: Avoyelles ahead in Runs Scored by .6ppg
Buckeye leads in Runs Allowed by .62 ppg

Is that close or what!?!

Buckeye 18.00
Avoyelles 18.00

Has this ever happened? What would be the tie breaker?

not alot of difference between being 1 or 2. Hopefully both will meet in the finals and then it can be settled.

I agree, in fact I almost added that after I'd posted but when I thought about it I was too late to edit.

I know that most of the time it doesnt matter if you are 1 or 2. I just think that it is interesting to see how closely ranked the teams are. The only time the ranking matters is after you see who you will be playing and sometimes the the #2 seed will have an easier matchup than the number one seed.

That #1 ranking brings a huge bulls-eye and extra motivation to opponents.
