Winnfield Recognition

Since the "boards" are a little slow this time of year, I'd like to recognize our girls who made all-district. Coach Carter was named Coach of the Year, and Junior forward Christina Gray was named Co-Player of the Year. Junior PG Tashana Triplett made the second team, and Senior Keira St. John, Junior guard Anna Phillips, Junior guard Sarah Little, and Freshman guard Chant Lewis all made honorable mention. Winnfield salutes you gals! We are proud of you and can't wait till next year!

Sounds like Winnfield will have a lot of returning players coming back next year. Looks like they might be set on another run again next season.

You are correct cenla. We have one senior next year (St. John), which means we return four of our starting 5 and our 6th man (uh, woman) off the bench.
