I've read on this board and others about the lack of offense in SB and the need for a team to rely on more than just a pitcher and YADA YADA YADA. Here is the most important thing. We have a bunch of girls playing well and looking forward to a great post season.
Claiborne Christian School is looking pretty good this year. I don't think we are as strong as we were last year, but the potential is there if the girls can focus. I do not have the stats in front of me, but Kara Anderson is pitching well. If she is on, we will be hard to beat. Kirstie Hines is also pitching well, and she is playing great defense on first. My daughter is the leadoff hitter Jerrica Bennett. She is playing SS well. She is a nightmare on the base path. She has stolen a lot of bases this year with some super aggressive slides. Angel Hamilton is behind the plate and doing her thing again this year. Bailey Burroughs is playing amazing defense on third as she also cranks out some bombs. FUN TO WATCH.
As a class C school we have some very young players on the team that show great promise for the future of our program. Should be a great post season fellas. Lets enjoy the ride.

I agree that CCS is playing really well. Kara and her family are special to me. I try to keep up with them as much as possible. She pitched really well in the Ouachita Tournament. However, with CCS it isn't about Kara only. They have areally solid team behind her and seem to have good team chemistry. Congrates to you and hope you go all the way .
