tell me more about this. do you mean the championships won't be hosted in hammond and lafayette? do you mean they will play every boys and girls championship game in one location the same weekend? i haven't read up on this so i don't really know what the plan is at this time.

From my understanding they will be doing away with both Tournments and just have boys and girls championship together same week. They or lokking at New orleans Arena, Lafayette Cajun Dome, and Some place in Sherveport. My money on new Orleans Arena. My personnal favorite is Lafayette. All playoff games would be held on different campus sites.

I don't like it, but the LHSAA doesn't care what any fans think about their decisions.

weren't they considering a plan to chose the site after they found out who is in the finals? like the year wossman and richwood boys played in the finals. they could have sold out the monroe civic center for that game.
i don't know how they could wait that long to make an announcement like that. those arrangements have to be made well in advance.

I don't like it. Making the semifinals won't be as big of a deal anymore. But like you guys said, it's all about the $$$ with the LHSAA.
I do think moving the games to the NO Arena would be awesome, however it would be some long travel for the teams in the northern part of the state.
